Job description

About Elevation

Elevation Individual and Family Therapy, PLLC is a growing, multi-location mental health practice providing high-quality, ethical, and community-centered therapy services. We serve individuals, families, and communities through outpatient therapy, group services, and community partnerships.

We are seeking a Marketing Services Coordinator (1099 Contractor) to execute and manage structured marketing efforts that increase referrals, strengthen brand visibility, and support sustainable growth.

This is a hands-on execution role, not just a strategy or posting role.

Position Overview

The Marketing Services Coordinator will provide ongoing marketing services under a deliverable-based contract. This role requires independent execution, strong organization, and consistent reporting.

You will be responsible for outreach, content creation, digital visibility, and marketing documentation — with clear expectations and measurable outputs.

Core Responsibilities & Monthly Deliverables

Referral & Community Outreach

  • Complete 20 documented outreach contacts per month with:
    • Physicians (Primary Care, OB-GYNs, Pediatricians)
    • Schools and school-based professionals
    • Churches and community organizations
    • Nonprofits and agencies
  • Conduct at least 4 in-person outreach visits per month (local candidates preferred)
  • Maintain an organized outreach tracker
  • Submit a monthly outreach summary report

Social Media & Digital Content

  • Publish 3 social media posts per week (minimum 12 per month)
  • Create original graphics (Canva or similar)
  • Maintain a rolling 30-day content calendar
  • Track posting activity and engagement

Blogging & SEO

  • Write and publish 4 SEO-optimized blog posts per month
  • Conduct keyword research and on-page SEO optimization
  • Audit at least 1 existing website page per month for SEO improvements
  • Submit a monthly content & SEO report

Marketing Materials & Asset Creation

  • Design at least 4 marketing assets per month, such as:
    • Digital flyers
    • Referral one-pagers
    • Program or event promotions
    • Service brochures
  • Submit all materials in editable format
  • Organize and label assets in shared folders

Digital Presence & Advertising Oversight

  • Review and update Google Business Profile monthly
  • Monitor website content accuracy
  • Flag outdated or incorrect listings
  • Monitor approved Google and social media ad campaigns
(Ad spend is paid directly by Elevation)

Email Marketing

  • Draft and distribute 2 email campaigns per month
  • Manage and segment email lists
  • Ensure CAN-SPAM compliance and data confidentiality
  • Provide monthly email marketing metrics and insights

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain organized marketing records and trackers
  • Submit monthly marketing progress reports
  • Participate in a 30-minute weekly check-in meeting to review progress and priorities

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience providing marketing services as an independent contractor or consultant
  • Experience with community outreach or referral-based marketing
  • Strong writing skills (blogs, email campaigns, professional outreach)
  • Experience with SEO fundamentals and content optimization
  • Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, and email platforms
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly deliverables without daily supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare or mental health marketing experience
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-aware marketing practices
  • Knowledge of community-based or Medicaid-serving organizations
  • Local familiarity with the Chicagoland / South Suburbs area

Important Notes

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 role
  • Contractor controls work methods and schedule
  • Deliverables, documentation, and reporting are required
  • All work product created becomes the property of Elevation

How to Apply

Please submit:

  1. Resume or business profile
  2. Brief overview of relevant experience
  3. Samples of:
    • Marketing materials
    • Blog or written content
    • Digital campaigns (if available)

Why This Role Is Different

This position is ideal for a marketing professional who:

  • Enjoys execution and structure
  • Wants clear expectations and measurable impact
  • Is comfortable working independently
  • Values ethical, community-focused work
