If you're equal parts strategist, storyteller, and creative problem-solver, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and traditional advertising channels.
  • Create engaging content for the City's website, blogs, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
  • Partner with the Marketing & Community Relations team to grow audience engagement and promote City events and initiatives.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, and campaign analytics.
  • Support website content, SEO, and SEM initiatives to expand the City's digital reach.
  • Monitor campaign performance, evaluate ROI, and use data to improve future marketing efforts.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with City departments, vendors, and community partners to deliver successful marketing projects.
  • Assist with graphic design projects and other creative initiatives as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Six (6) or more years of professional marketing experience.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing campaigns and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with social media management, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and marketing analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
  • Municipal or public-sector marketing experience is a plus.

Why Carmel?

At the City of Carmel, marketing goes beyond promotion. Every campaign helps connect people with their community, supports local businesses, celebrates City initiatives, and enhances the exceptional quality of life that makes Carmel nationally recognized.

Join a collaborative team where creativity, innovation, and public service come together to make a lasting impact.
