Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Scrum Master with strong exposure to Retail domain, AI-driven initiatives, and Digital Transformation programs. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and enable successful execution of retail modernization and AI-enabled digital products.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, Agile coaching capabilities, and experience working in large enterprise transformation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives.
  • Drive Agile best practices and ensure Scrum framework adherence across teams.
  • Support AI and Digital Transformation initiatives including retail modernization programs.
  • Remove impediments and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to refine backlog, prioritize features, and ensure business alignment.
  • Enable delivery of AI-powered use cases such as personalization, demand forecasting, customer analytics, recommendation engines, etc.
  • Track and report key Agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time, Predictability).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Retail Business Teams, and UX teams.
  • Drive DevOps and CI/CD adoption where applicable.
  • Coach teams on Agile maturity and continuous improvement practices.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication across business and technology teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

Agile & Scrum

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM / SAFe SM preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experience handling multiple distributed teams

Retail Domain Experience

  • Strong understanding of Retail processes:
    • Merchandising
    • Supply Chain
    • POS systems
    • E-commerce
    • Omnichannel experience
  • Experience working with large retail enterprises (e.g., Walmart, Target, etc.)

AI & Digital Transformation

  • Experience working on AI/ML-enabled products or data-driven platforms
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives such as:
    • Cloud migration
    • Legacy modernization
    • Digital commerce platforms
    • Customer experience transformation
  • Familiarity with AI lifecycle (Data → Model → Deployment → Monitoring)
