Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support the FBI Team in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum processes and ensure the team adheres to agile practices while working closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to promote continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Support the team in maintaining a healthy and productive agile environment.
• Monitor and report on sprint progress and resolve issues that may hinder team performance.
• Help remove impediments and escalate blockers as needed to ensure project success.
• Foster open communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clear and achievable sprint goals.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practices within the Scrum framework.
• Track and report key metrics, such as velocity, sprint burndown, and team performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles.
• Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
