Automatic Screen Printing Press Operator

Pittsburgh Print House
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4-Day Work Week)

Compensation: Competitive Base Salary (P1-P5) + Performance Bonuses

About Pittsburgh Print House

Pittsburgh Print House is one of the fastest-growing contract apparel decorators in the region. We specialize in high-volume screen printing, embroidery, DTF, fulfillment, and branded merchandise for national brands, promotional distributors, corporations, and events.

We're looking for an experienced Automatic Screen Printing Press Operator who takes pride in producing exceptional work, maximizing efficiency, and continually improving production performance.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, register, and operate ROQ automatic screen printing presses.
  • Produce high-quality prints while meeting daily production goals.
  • Monitor print quality and make adjustments throughout production.
  • Troubleshoot registration, ink flow, curing, and equipment issues.
  • Mix inks and maintain consistent color accuracy.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and cleaning on equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure on-time delivery and exceptional quality.
  • Train and mentor assistant operators as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating an automatic screen printing press.
  • Experience with ROQ, M&R, Anatol, Workhorse, or comparable automatic presses.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Multi-color registration
    • Plastisol inks
    • Flash curing
    • Off-contact settings
    • Squeegee pressure
    • Print quality control
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
