Job description

1st shift 6a-2:30p

Position Title: Pre-scaler (Pre-Scale)

Tasks:

  • Be able to accurately scale and measure all ingredients (dry and liquid) using a variety of scales.
  • Condense partial pallets of ingredients on a daily basis moving pre scaled ingredients and combining to one pallet.
  • Be able to rotate to other pre-scale positions.
  • Compile ingredients orders for production items. Manually label bags or containers of ingredients for a production run.
  • Stack pre scaled ingredients on pallets, convenient to usage and shrink-wrap pallet.
  • Prepare containers or pallets and secure ingredients. Maintain a clean work area though shifts.
  • Clean all utensils and scales at the end of the shift.
  • Sweep and clean the pre scale rooms at the end of the shift.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and/or in other areas.


Basic Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Must adhere to all GMP policies.
