Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Pipe Roll Apprentice at The Beasley Group within the Sawmill division is responsible for supporting the pipe roll operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials. This full-time position is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on training and development in the industrial sector, focusing on the maintenance and operation of machinery used in the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of pipe roll machinery under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge related to the sawmill industry.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Support inventory management by tracking materials and reporting discrepancies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Required Experience:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
