Due to the development of John Deere Business Service Center, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

SAP Technical Solutions Analyst

Global IT Finance Delivery Region 2
Poznań, Poland

In this role, you will work on globally used SAP Finance solutions, implementing technical enhancements that directly support John Deere’s enterprise finance processes worldwide.

Your responsibilities:

  • Support IT‑enabled operational business processes in Accounting & Finance, with primary responsibility for John Deere's Region 2 (Europe, Middle East and Africa – EMEA) and active involvement in global, enterprise‑wide implementations across John Deere. 

  • Configure, develop and test solutions and enhancements in SAP-based Finance applications to deliver end‑to‑end functionality. 

  • Evaluate, design, and implement SAP application enhancements to improve cost, quality, and performance of Finance software applications. 

  • Work using agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and collaborate closely within the Scrum team—including Developers, Delivery Lead, Scrum Master and Product Owner to define new development and enhancement requirements in Finance. 

  • Create professional documentation in English. 

Our requirements:

  • Good hands-on knowledge of SAP Finance; solid working knowledge in Finance & Accounting areas such as General ledger, Tax, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Basic software development skills with practical coding experience—preferably SAP ABAP; exposure to SAP Fiori (or similar) is a plus.
  • SAP FI/CO configuration experience, including customization within the SAP Implementation Guide (IMG).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance (CFIN) environments is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge and initial experience with agile ways of working (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Good knowledge of creating technical specifications.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Completed degree from a University or a comparable qualification, combined with +4 years of professional experience.

You show initiative, are communicative and reliable, and are able to work effectively with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. You can handle a high workload and perform well under deadline pressure. You remain calm and objective when discussions become difficult or heated, and you are able to convince stakeholders over whom you have no direct line authority. The role involves little travel.
