Mid-Level SAP BASIS Consultant - Remote
As a SAP BASIS Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps support the end client's SAP System for BASIS and Security functionality of the SAP HANA System with the Global Team on this project.knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3-8 years of experience with SAP working on BASIS and/or Security.
  • This position may require travel to project / client locations occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4-8 years of proven experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant on minimum of one HANA and 1 support experience on projects Must Have SAP Technical BASIS and some Security Skills

For 10+ years our client has been providing SAP Support services for this Aerospace & Defense end client. They have delivered mission-critical support to the DoD and Intelligence Community. Today they continue this work with expanded capabilities. This is a contract to Hire role after 6 months.
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Mandatory: Due to our US federal government contract, candidates for this position are required to be a US Citizen or Green Card and will be subject to a background investigation.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support system administration, manufacturing, SCM, PM, QM, Transportation management, and release management.

Required Skills:
  • Expert-level proficiency in SAP Basis Administration, SCM, Plant Maintenance, Quality Mgmt, Transport Management (STMS), and Release Management.
  • S/4HANA project experience.
  • Aerospace & Defense and/or U.S. Federal manufacturing/MRO a BIG PLUS.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification

  • Good knowledge of SAP coding, capacity to debug/understand existing code.
  • Experience with middleware/legacy system integrations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and address complex issues and challenges related to the SAP product.
  • Proactive attitude towards driving continuous improvement of the SAP product and processes.
  • SAP certification in BASIS, HANA, preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM coming and hybrid method to use with SolMan

A SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the technical administration, stability, performance, security, and lifecycle management of SAP systems. While functional consultants (SD, MM, FICO, etc.) focus on business processes, Basis administrators manage the underlying SAP landscape.
