Job Description:

What will you work on?
Reporting to the Manager of Business Applications, the primary responsibility of this role is to provide SAP support and guidance to business users within the finance. This encompasses multi-SAP modules including: FICO and integrations with Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Warehouse management {WM) and Production planning and control (PP). The candidate will be key contributor to the Toronto Enterprise Applications Team and will work closely with cross business representatives.


How will you create impact?

  • Business Process Improvement
  • Identify and recommend actions to streamline business processes, through training and communication amongst the end user community
  • Assist in business systems and process reviews, assist users in defining and documenting their business system requirements
  • Guide employees when defining existing business process to ensure business system requirements are aligned with those processes, including recommendation for improvement and documentation
  • Implementation of new SAP functionality
  • Adhere to Spin Master IT Project methodology and change control policies
  • Facilitate Business Requirements Gathering through workshops and interviews with business expertswhile working closely with end users to ensure a common understanding of day to day activities
  • Prepare and maintain SAP business process documentation S4 HANA 1709 and higher version 2023 and of all associated project documentation
  • Prepare Functional specs for all system changes, work with ABAP developer where necessary
  • Perform unit and functional testing and facilitate Integration and User Acceptance Testing
  • Assist with SAP End-User Training to all customer service, sales, and planning groups
  • Prepare Cut-over Plan where necessary and Perform/Monitor all cut-over activities in preparation for Go Live Production Support
  • Support all Spin Master business units globally on SAP issues
  • Address production support issues according to issue criticality and priority as set by Manger, Business Applications
  • Regularly review the elements of the Sales and Distribution processes used at all facilities
  • Support where applicable third party software interfaces such as those pertaining to EDI Stay current on area of expertise
  • Maintain proficiency and stay current with regards to the SAP modules and on business application software products assigned to support

What are your skills and experience?

  • A University Computer Science or Business Commerce degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • SAP functional expertise in more than one module: Materials management, Production Planning and control, Sales and Distribution and Warehouse management.
  • SAP technical experience in FICO and integration with MM, PP, WM and SD. S4 AHAN 2023 experience and hands on controlling , bank integrations , High radius , blackline etc.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word and MS Visio
  • EDI experience, an asset
  • Experience working with the following applications is useful; MS SharePoint, SAP Bl, Speedquote, Gentran

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $115,000 to $125,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
