Job Summary:


B&A is seeking a SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting & Onboarding - Senior Functional Consultant to support a federal government client operating within a classified environment. This role is responsible for the configuration, sustainment, and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) and Onboarding 2.0 to support end-to-end federal talent acquisition and new hire integration processes. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise across both Recruiting and Onboarding modules and a demonstrated ability to align complex federal hiring requirements - including security clearance workflows and compliance-driven onboarding procedures - with scalable SAP SuccessFactors solutions. 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the configuration, testing, and sustainment of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) and Recruiting Marketing (RMK) to support full-cycle federal talent acquisition workflows
  • Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 including onboarding programs, task lists, compliance forms, equipment and access provisioning workflows, and new hire portal content
  • Analyze and translate federal recruiting and onboarding business requirements into functional design specifications, job requisition templates, offer letter configurations, and onboarding program designs
  • Design and maintain candidate pipeline workflows, interview scheduling configurations, offer approval route maps, and background check integration touchpoints
  • Support the integration between Recruiting and Onboarding modules and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to ensure seamless candidate-to-employee conversion
  • Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Security teams to align onboarding workflows with federal suitability determination, security clearance processing, and background investigation requirements
  • Conduct configuration workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) with federal client HR and talent acquisition personnel
  • Develop and maintain functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and end-user training materials for both Recruiting and Onboarding modules
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding best practices, advising on system enhancements and bi-annual release updates
  •  Ensure all recruiting and onboarding processes remain compliant with federal hiring regulations, data privacy requirements, and security protocols applicable to the classified operating environment 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and/or Onboarding configuration and implementation
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting federal government clients or operating within regulated or classified environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) and Onboarding 2.0 including requisition templates, route maps, offer configuration, onboarding task lists, and compliance form management
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Human Resources Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field

Required Skills: 

  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) including job requisition configuration, candidate pipeline management, interview scheduling, offer management, and route map design
  • Hands-on experience configuring SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 including onboarding programs, task configurations, compliance form management, and new hire portal setup
  • Strong understanding of the integration between Recruiting, Onboarding, and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central including candidate-to-employee conversion workflows
  • Familiarity with federal hiring authorities, merit promotion procedures, and Schedule A/B/D hiring pathways as they relate to system configuration and requisition design
  • Ability to gather, document, and validate business requirements from federal talent acquisition and HR stakeholders
  • Proficiency in developing functional specifications, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and end-user training materials
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors release management and the ability to assess impacts of bi-annual updates on existing Recruiting and Onboarding configurations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex functional concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working within federal or highly regulated IT environments with adherence to strict security and compliance protocols

Desired Skills:

  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting or SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding certification
  • Experience configuring SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK) including career site builder, job postings, and candidate experience design
  • Familiarity with background screening vendor integrations and eVerify/I-9 compliance workflows within SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
  • Knowledge of federal HR compliance requirements including USERRA, VEVRAA, Section 503, and OPM competitive service hiring regulations
  • Experience supporting Agile or SAFe delivery methodologies within federal IT programs
  • Prior experience on DOE, DOD, or other federal agency SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding implementations

Security Clearance

  • Active Top Secret (TS) or DOE Q clearance is required; eligibility for SCI access may be required depending on program assignment
