Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products is hiring a Production Planner / Scheduler at our Chandler, AZ Location.

 

THE ROLE

The Production Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the production process or cycle. This includes creating planning rules and modifiers to drive manufacturing software, such as MRP, and monitoring inventory levels.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring final product approval through the complete production cycle.
  • Monitoring raw materials, parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and finished goods from external and internal suppliers.
  • Locating and expediting critical materials
  • Reviewing open sales order reports, forecast schedules, and stock inventory.
  • Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring final product approval through the complete production cycle.
  • Participating in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments.
  • Partnering with plant schedulers to align with any production changes and monitor work order management.
  • Efficiently Cross-train in other Supply Chain roles to support as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or two years related manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SAP experience- preferred.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP processes.
  • Solid computer skills are required, including but not limited to MS Office software applications with advanced user skills in Excel.
  • Previous scheduling/planning experience- preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience- preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the organization.
