POSITION: Senior SAP Planner LOCATION: Jupiter, FL.

STATUS: Salary-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced SAP Senior Planner to support and optimize manufacturing planning operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP ERP planning systems, strong manufacturing operations knowledge, and the ability to coordinate production, materials, and supply chain activities to support operational excellence and on-time delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead production planning and scheduling activities within SAP ERP to support manufacturing and repair operations and customer delivery requirements.
  • Manage and maintain MRP parameters, planning data, and production order execution within SAP.
  • Coordinate production schedules based on capacity, labor availability, material constraints, and customer priorities.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, lead times, and production performance to optimize planning effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability and minimize shortages.
  • Work closely with manufacturing and repair operations to resolve scheduling conflicts and improve throughput.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and capacity planning activities.
  • Monitor KPIs related to delivery performance, inventory turns, schedule adherence, and production efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, SAP workflows, and operational performance.
  • Participate in ERP system enhancements, data integrity initiatives, and process standardization projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM’s EHS Training Matrix

Skills/Experience
  • 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems, including SAP PP and SAP MM modules.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Experience in aerospace, defence, precision manufacturing, or industrial gas turbine industries strongly preferred.
  • APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting complex assemblies and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, forecasting, and demand management processes.
