  • 40 hours/week, 7 Month Assignment

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations during Oracle testing by ensuring accurate payroll processing, data integrity, and compliance across a large, multi-state, union environment. This role involves payroll adjustments, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams while supporting time-sensitive projects and system-related initiatives.
Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end multi-frequency union and non-union payrolls, including SAP payroll adjustments, garnishments, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Perform audits and reconciliations of HR and payroll data, including payroll integrations, bank files, and multistate tax requirements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support Oracle testing and system-related projects, including data entry, schedule updates, payroll testing, and special assignments with strict deadlines.
  • Generate ad hoc reports, maintain payroll records, and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and internal stakeholders to maintain data integrity, support compliance (including SOX), monitor regulatory updates, and ensure smooth payroll operations.

Payroll Analyst Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of payroll experience in a large company setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Demonstrated understanding of payroll processes, including the relationship between HR policies/programs and payroll operations.
  • Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or other major HCM systems is preferred.
  • Experience with multi-frequency union payroll processing is highly preferred.
