Description:

The Salesforce Health Cloud Developer II designs, develops, tests, documents, implements, and supports Salesforce Health Cloud solutions. This role delivers application customizations, integrates third-party software and enterprise systems, partners with the Salesforce Health Cloud Administrator and cross-functional teams, monitors critical workflows, and resolves or escalates issues as needed.


What You Will Do:

  • Evaluate, support, and test vendor-supplied software; assess compatibility, install upgrades and patches, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Research available modules and develop a strong understanding of the business processes and user functions they support, including how modules connect and affect one another.
  • Help design user interfaces and workflows based on business needs.
  • Analyze, design, and develop code for system interfaces and data integration services using Salesforce APIs.
  • Convert logical designs into efficient program code; review and revise applications to meet new requirements and participate in code reviews with lead or senior developers.
  • Provide day-to-day support to functional users, debug system issues, and build knowledge of user workflows to improve application development and support.
  • Coordinate across departments to support application performance and communicate the impact of upgrades, fixes, and process changes.
  • Develop test plans with guidance from a lead developer, prepare test data, execute program and system testing, evaluate defects, and revise code.
  • Create and maintain technical reports, instructional materials, system design documents, and program documentation.
  • Assist with escalated trouble tickets, reporting, event-call monitoring, and first-level responses; document change-control activities.
  • Participate in project status meetings and work within Agile Scrum and test-driven development practices, including user stories, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Participate in on-call support, including occasional weekend or nighttime work for implementations, and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with coursework in programming and database systems, or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to receive a favorable interim and final adjudicated Department of Defense background investigation.
  • 3+ years of general application development and support experience.
  • 1+ year of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud experience.
  • 1+ year of experience with a Salesforce DevOps toolset and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Salesforce Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOAP, and REST.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using Jira or a similar solution.
  • Experience communicating with both technical and business audiences.
  • Technical experience with healthcare systems or government contract systems.
  • Hands-on Salesforce development experience in a Salesforce Government Cloud environment.

Preferred:

  • 4+ years of general application development and support experience.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce Health Cloud experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with a Salesforce DevOps toolset and CI/CD practices.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, and/or Platform Developer II certification.
  • Experience with the Aura framework and OmniScript.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical experience with healthcare systems or government contract systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components and Einstein Analytics.

- Temp-to-hire - Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and able to receive a Department of Defense background investigation. - This is a fully remote position. All work must be performed from the candidate???s approved home workspace. The candidate cannot work from public, shared, or other outside locations. - Candidate must have hands-on Salesforce Government Cloud or Government Cloud Plus development experience. Working for a government agency or government contractor does not qualify unless the candidate developed within one of these Salesforce environments. - Candidate must have at least three years of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud development experience.
