is seeking qualified candidates for the following opening:

Tableau Administrator

Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security in Dev Test and Production environments and Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database and MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) environments and integrations impacting reporting platforms.

Specific Services Required:

In the role of the BI / Tableau Admin, the following services are required:

  • Administer Tableau Cloud sites, projects, users, groups, permissions, and security.
  • Monitor platform health, extract refreshes, subscriptions, and scheduled jobs.
  • Troubleshoot Tableau performance, connectivity, and reporting issues.
  • Support report developers, analysts, and business users.
  • Deploy and Promote Reports to different Environments
  • Support and troubleshoot Azure SQL Database environments used for enterprise reporting.
  • Investigate reporting data issues and perform data validation activities.
  • Monitor database connectivity, query performance, and data refresh processes.
  • Assist with SQL/SOQL troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Monitor and support Azure Data Factory pipelines that load Salesforce and other source-system data into Azure SQL Database.
  • Troubleshoot data load failures and data quality issues.
  • Assist in identifying root causes of integration and reporting issues.
  • Collaborate with development and integration teams during incident resolution and deployments.
  • Support MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) environments and integrations impacting reporting platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

For this position, the candidate shares experience and judgment with team to plan and accomplish goals, mentors less experienced staff, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. In addition, the agency requires:

An experienced professional with 5 or more years of prior experience demonstrating the following knowledge and skills:

  • Experience with Tableau Cloud administration and support
  • Experience with Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, and the impact of different design decisions. Ability to apply best practices.
  • Experience with dashboards and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with Azure SQL Database or similar relational databases.
  • Experience with user management including new user setup, user deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules and other routine tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving around issues such as user access, declarative logic, business requests, Environment management, and backup solutions.
  • Comfortable engaging and escalating issues to Salesforce
  • Must be very organized, pro-active and self-directed.
  • Must be self-starter and driven. Must Drive the work from requirements to implementation.
  • Must have very strong abstract thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work on all phases of SDLC and create/maintain required technical documentation.
  • Work with the Salesforce Architect to establish best practices.
  • Work with management to supply input for key design and architecture decisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Experience with MuleSoft Runtime Fabric (RTF) or MuleSoft integrations.
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and reporting environments.
  • Microsoft Azure experience.
