As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting both individual and couple’s therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and life transitions.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address complex family dynamics, including but not limited to:
  • Substance abuse issues
  • Trauma recovery, including physical and emotional abuse
  • Grief and bereavement
  • Managing stress related to employment or health challenges
  • Navigating family conflicts, including challenges faced by blended families, separations, and divorce
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in our secure electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and best practices.
• Participating in regular team meetings, clinical supervision, and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and provide the best service possible to our clients.

The client population you will work with is diverse, encompassing adults, children, and adolescents facing various challenges. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
• Active state licensure for practice.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy, knowledge of treatment protocols for substance abuse, and prior work with diverse family structures are advantageous. Familiarity with tools like telehealth platforms and electronic health records will be beneficial in streamlining client interactions and documentation.
