Job Description Business Analyst (Non-IT): Lead Location: Remote (U.S.) Job Type: Contract Industry: Financial Services / Banking / Mortgage Rate: $70-75/HR Position Summary We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with strong experience in mortgage lending, HELOC, mortgage servicing, and financial analytics to support strategic business initiatives. This role will analyze complex business processes, develop business requirements, identify process improvement opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations using SQL, SAS, Tableau, and sandbox environments. The ideal candidate has experience working for a large bank or fintech organization supporting mortgage products, leveraging competitive intelligence, economic indicators, and business analytics to drive strategic decisions

Key Responsibilities Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities. Gather, document, and validate business requirements. Develop current-state and future-state process documentation.

Create ROI and financial business case analyses. Utilize SQL, SAS, Tableau, and sandbox environments for data analysis and reporting. Analyze mortgage, HELOC, and servicing portfolios using internal and external data.

Leverage competitive intelligence and economic indicators to support strategic recommendations. Partner with business stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements. Produce executive-level reporting and presentations.

Support cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles. Required Qualifications 7+ years of Business Analysis experience. Strong Mortgage, HELOC, or Mortgage Servicing experience.

Strong SQL and SAS experience. Tableau reporting and dashboard development. Experience working in sandbox or analytical environments.

Financial modeling and ROI analysis. Requirements gathering and business process documentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience within large banking or fintech organizations preferred. U.S. education preferred.
