Program Manager – ERP / Salesforce Implementation

Location: Chicago, IL – Onsite
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale ERP and/or Salesforce implementation programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex technology implementations involving business stakeholders, technical teams, implementation partners, and senior leadership.

The Program Manager will be responsible for overall program planning, execution, governance, risk management, and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale ERP and/or Salesforce implementation programs

  • Manage program scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies

  • Coordinate across business teams, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners

  • Establish program governance, status reporting, escalation processes, and executive communications

  • Drive requirements, design, development, testing, data migration, deployment, and business readiness activities

  • Track multiple workstreams and ensure alignment across functional and technical teams

  • Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation plans

  • Facilitate steering committee and executive-level program updates

  • Ensure implementation follows established architecture, security, compliance, and delivery standards

  • Drive successful go-live, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support

Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience as a Program Manager / Senior Project Manager leading enterprise technology implementations

  • Demonstrated experience implementing ERP platforms and/or Salesforce

  • Experience managing large, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams

  • Strong understanding of the full implementation lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and change management

  • Experience managing implementation partners and third-party vendors

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills

  • Ability to work onsite in Chicago

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementation programs

  • Salesforce technical knowledge or architecture experience

  • Salesforce technical certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, or Salesforce Architect certifications are a strong plus

  • Experience with enterprise integrations, data migration, and system architecture

  • PMP, Agile/Scrum, or other program/project management certifications are a plus
