Key accountabilities/activities

The Sales Support Specialist - AIF/AGA plays a central role in supporting the AIF/AGA sales cycle by preparing accurate, timely quotes and ensuring our sales team is fully equipped with the tools, information, and CRM capabilities they need to succeed.

This role supports Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) across Canada, maintains strong relationships, and acts as the primary subject matter expert for our internal CRM system (C4C). The Sales Support Specialist - AIF/AGA will take ownership of training, updates, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of C4C usage within the organization, ensuring consistent lead/opportunity setup, data quality, and process compliance.

This position is based in St-Laurent (QC) and the schedule is 35 hours per week.
This position reports to the Digital Marketing and Communication Manager.

Main responsibilities include

 

  • Receiving leads from TSRs and ensuring all required information is provided to proceed with quotation creation.
  • Reviewing incoming requests for completeness and following up with TSRs when additional details are required (product, configuration, pricing, milestones, documentation).
  • Creating and maintaining Opportunities in C4C under the TSRs ownership to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reporting.
  • Creating and building Sales Quotes in C4C based on the Opportunity and information provided by the TSR.
  • Preparing accurate quotations using internal pricing tools, configuration systems, and approved templates, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Validating that requests fall within scope and escalating or requesting clarification when required.
  • Sending draft quotations to TSRs for review and approval, ensuring alignment on technical and commercial details.
  • Issuing final quotations to customers with the TSR copied, in line with the defined process.
  • Updating opportunity and quote status in C4C throughout the process lifecycle.
  • Supporting TSRs with quote revisions, updates, and re-submissions as required based on customer feedback.
  • Monitoring inbound lead and request flow to ensure timely turnaround and identify bottlenecks.
  • Assisting in the preparation of basic activity tracking (volume, turnaround time, pending requests).
  • Ensuring adherence to the Sales Support Process Flow and maintaining consistency in execution.
  • Assisting in related tasks, special projects, and cross-functional activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental, health & safety, sustainability, recycling, and quality assurance standards.
To succeed in your role
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a sales support role
  • Strong knowledge of C4C system
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (speaking and writing)
  • Proven ability to give excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • Proven ability to build relations with colleagues and customers
  • Good computer literacy skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and priorities effectively

Fluency in English is required to communicate with colleagues and customers outside of Quebec.

  • This position is a standard office job and requires presence in the office 3x per week.
