POSITION SUMMARY:

Metcon is a commercial general contractor that specializes in construction management, negotiated, design-build and select hard-bid projects. Project Executive primary duty is to grow the company by achieving sales and profitability objectives for new projects and clientele. Promote Metcon Construction to owners, developers, planners, architects, engineers, and any appropriate sales lead by increasing brand awareness, prospecting, and engaging new clients, coordinating public relations efforts, attending, and participating in trade shows, participating in professional and/or industry organizations. Ability to lead a single project of greatest scope and complexity or programs of large complex work. Monitor, direct, and grow the team. Must lead, teach, train, and manage programs of work. Ability to execute project objectives resulting in “on time” and within budget. Responsible for ensuring project goals, objectives and initiatives are met in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Metcon. Greater than 10 yrs. industry experience or proficient in previous role.

Job Description:
  • Promote Metcon Construction to owners, developers, planners, architects, engineers, and any appropriate sales lead by increasing brand awareness, prospecting and engaging new clients, coordinating public relations efforts, attending and participating in trade shows, participating in professional and/or industry organizations.
  • Demonstrate and apply complete understanding of all aspects of Construction business necessary to build confidence in perspective clientele.
  • Understanding of financing options available to development and be able to communicate individual program requirements to clients, architects, and Metcon staff.
  • Regularly updates marketing collateral and is primarily responsible for distribution of marketing collateral.
  • Identify profitable marketplace opportunities.
  • Monitor project announcements daily to generate leads.
  • Build and manage long term relationships and partnerships with key and target clients, architectural and engineering to generate leads (both Private and Public projects).
  • Follow up on project leads identified by other Metcon staff members.
  • Tracks projects, with consistent contact to project team members, from concept through contract award.
  • Attends prebid conferences, is primarily point of contact to outside contacts, communicates all relevant information to Estimating staff.
  • Develop, prepare, coordinate, and execute presentations and proposals, with Estimating staff participation, to existing or new clients.
  • Works with Estimating staff throughout Design Assist process to ensure Clients goals are achieved and predevelopment schedule is maintained.
