Ferguson is now seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team! This role is responsible for supporting our Maryland, DC and Northern VA Waterworks business by maintaining the technical aspects of our sales process, protecting sales and profit and simplifying complex sales.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Upper Marlboro, Chantilly, Frederick or Joppa locations, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Waterworks business unit that will assist in the growth and development of assigned accounts.

  • Understand assigned customer agreements including written contracts and incentive programs

  • Ensure a summary of customer agreement in place and understood by team

  • Ensure customer file is aligned with contractual and strategic requirements including price columns, matrix pricing, and payment terms

  • Ensure awareness of pending contract renewal requirements

  • Prepare Customer Quarterly Review meeting presentations

  • Coordinate online catalog updates

  • Maintains information pertinent to each customer

  • Complete and distribute monthly/quarterly reporting to customers providing feedback based on customer structure and vendor programs

  • Complete customer analysis of existing customers to better understand what districts we do business in, overall sales and gross profit by district, product mix analysis, and existing pricing structure

  • Recommend customer approach given analysis and participate in conversations to determine best method

  • Ensure compliance with pricing strategy

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in the waterworks, construction, plumbing or piping industry

  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI, Planswift and/or Bidtracer highly preferred

  • The ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required

  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

  • Experience with Trilogie preferred

  • Prior exposure and experience with customer contracts preferred

  • Understanding of pricing methodologies and strategy preferred

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
