Pay: $21.00 - $22.00/hr | Full-Time | In-Office Only | Utah Candidates
WHO WE ARE
Closets by Design - Salt Lake City is a locally operated franchise with in-home Designers serving the Wasatch Front. We're a fast-moving, performance-driven sales organization and we're looking for someone who wants to be at the center of it not on the sidelines.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an in-office, client-facing role where you'll spend a meaningful part of your day on the computer or phone calling, texting or emailing clients, speaking with designers, and collaborating with the people who need answers to keep deals moving. You'll work directly alongside our Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator, have regular contact with our designer team.
This isn't just a back-office support job. You'll be working on designs, on calls with clients, helping close deals, and playing a direct role in how this office performs every month.
TWO MONTHLY BONUS OPPORTUNITIES and you're eligible for both. Our bonus programs are tied to how the Sales Team performs. The more you help our Designers sell, the bigger the payout for the designers and you are personally.
REAL UPWARD MOBILITY. We're a small private company, which means titles, compensatation and responsibilities grow with the person and their merit. This role puts you in daily contact with leadership/ownership and gives you a front-row seat to how a high-performing sales operation runs.
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Rotating 1 Saturday every 3rd week is required. (you will take a day off during the week)
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Sales & Client Communication
  • Get on the phone with clients and move conversations forward
  • Facilitate in-office sales pitches, negotiations, and closings
  • Support and develop a team of 20+ in-home sales designers
  • Help designers with technical design questions, pricing, and proposals
  • Manage client scheduling and internal team calendars
  • Hold team members accountable to our proven sales process
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to keep projects and deals on track

Admin, Project & Workflow Coordination
  • Perform plan checks on all incoming projects
  • Send weekly reports, update CRM notes and do some necessary daily Admin work.
  • Assist with Closet Pro proposals and design support
  • Monitor communications for engineering issues and coordinate resolutions
  • Resolve project kickbacks and discrepancies with accuracy and follow-through
  • Ensure all issues are documented and closed properly

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales
  • 1-2 years of personal sales success in-home or B2C experience strongly preferred
  • Comfortable and confident on the phone you know how to connect, persuade, and move a conversation forward
  • Solid understanding of price negotiations and deal structuring
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Problem-solver who follows through every time
  • Proficient in Google Suite; CRM or design software experience is a plus
  • Must be Utah-based this is a 100% in-office, in-person role
  • College degree preferred but not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Pay: $20.00 - $22.00/hr
