Job Function:

Sales Operations Analyst provides administrative and operational support to the Sales and Sales Operations Teams to improve overall performance through reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence tools. This role is responsible for compiling and analyzing sales data, maintaining SalesForce information and generating reports that deliver accurate and actionable insights to Sales Operations, Client Services, Business Development, Operations, Finance and Executive Teams. This role is critical to ensuring visibility, smooth communication and coordination between Sales, Finance and Operations departments.

Sales Operations Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Sales Operations team
  • Maintain and update Salesforce records, including tracking opportunities, projects, and customer data
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing sales forecasts, incorporating inputs from representatives, regions, and leadership, and updating data as business conditions change
  • Compile and distribute weekly, biweekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to appropriate stakeholders
  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
  • Assist in analyzing sales performance and preparing presentation materials for leadership
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across reports, systems, and Investigate reasons for changes from prior reports
  • Notify appropriate stakeholders of any changes
  • Support the administration of the Sales Referral Program, ensuring submissions are accurate and properly tracked
  • Coordinate with Operations and Talent Acquisition to help align resource availability with projected sales activity
  • Participate in regional and national sales meetings, providing reporting and operational support as needed
  • Collaborate with IT, Sales, and Operations to support improvements in Salesforce functionality, tools, reporting, and analytics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, data analysis, or a related support role
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau software or other CRM systems preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and basic analysis
  • Basic understanding of reporting tools (ie. Dashboards, data visualization is a plus)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, and IT
  • Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and processes in a fast-paced environment

Supervisory Requirements:

Incumbent will have no direct reports

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • FLSA executive and professional positions paid on salary basis, where project requirements and tight client deadlines may require workweeks in excess of 40 hours (including weekends or holidays)
  • Work is normally conducted in an office environment setting with no exposure to excessive heat, cold or noise
  • Significant desk work on a computer
  • Lifting requirements – 35 lbs. per OSHA requirements
