Scranton Powersports is a growing, full-service powersports dealership offering new and pre-owned ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and utility vehicles from top brands including Polaris, CFMOTO, Indian Motorcycle, and BRP. We pride ourselves on strong processes, customer-first culture, and consistent performance.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales department, drive results, develop talent, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the sales team, achieving sales and gross profit goals, managing lead flow, and enforcing a consistent, professional sales process. This role works closely with ownership, F&I, and marketing to maximize dealership performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve volume, gross, and CSI goals
  • Train sales associates on process, product knowledge, follow-up, and closing techniques
  • Manage and monitor all sales leads (website, OEM, phone, text, walk-ins)
  • Enforce CRM usage, lead response times, and follow-up accountability
  • Desk deals, structure transactions, and support sales staff through closing
  • Work with F&I to ensure clean, compliant, and profitable deals
  • Monitor inventory levels, aging, and merchandising in coordination with management
  • Conduct daily sales meetings and regular one-on-one performance reviews
  • Ensure showroom presentation and sales standards are maintained
  • Analyze sales performance, reports, and KPIs to identify opportunities
  • Uphold dealership policies, compliance, and customer satisfaction standards

Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Associate in automotive or powersports
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and hold a sales team accountable
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, lead management, and digital sales
  • Results-driven with strong closing and negotiation skills
  • Professional communication and leadership style
  • Ability to work weekends and a retail schedule
  • Valid driver's license
  • Powersports industry experience preferred, but automotive managers will be considered
