Job description

The Team:

On the Business Development Team you will be on the front lines of our growth, helping to expand our market presence by identifying and engaging with key decision-makers at the largest and most complex organizations in the world.

The Role:

Our Business Development Representative's main focus is to identify, develop, and create new enterprise business opportunities in new and existing accounts for 1-2 Account Executives in specific verticals within the US.

The work you'll do:
  • Evangelize the Platform: Act as a champion for the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, showcasing its transformative capabilities and articulating its value proposition to both new and existing customers.
  • Strategically Prospect: Use modern tools and creative strategies to connect with prospective clients via cold calls, email, and social channels.
  • Generate Pipeline: Drive sales growth by setting up qualified meetings and creating a robust pipeline for our Account Executives.
  • Own Your Territory: Be responsible for a defined territory, developing new accounts and expanding our relationships with existing customers to maximize market potential.
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with sales to define and execute account-based strategies, and partner with marketing to promote campaigns and events while following up on new leads.
  • Support Complex Sales Cycles: Effectively multithread different lines of business within complex enterprise accounts to build broad support and consensus.
The qualifications you need:
  • Have a BA/BS from a top university or equivalent
  • 1-3 Years of sales experience or business development experience in a SaaS organization 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders and tell a compelling story
  • You adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A results-driven attitude with a strong desire to compete & exceed targets
  • A natural curiosity. You are also highly coachable and eager to learn.

This is a hybrid role. Employees are expected to be in-office 3 days per week.
