  • Serve as a technical advisor to consulting engineers, contractors, municipalities, end users, and sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Support the transition of awarded projects to project management and engineering teams.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely technical guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Utilize engineering and sales tools including CRM systems, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and proprietary treatment selection software.
  • Maintain accurate customer and project information within Salesforce.
  • Stay current on treatment technologies, industry trends, and product developments through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Participate in industry organizations, local water initiatives, and cross-functional training opportunities.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, equipment selection, and technical proposal development.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, contribute, and achieve results.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience participating in municipal or industrial bidding/tendering processes.
  • Hands-on experience with controls, electrical panels, instrumentation, or mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to water treatment process design, equipment applications, or treatment technologies.
