TERRITORY SALES amp; ACCOUNT MANAGER
FIELD-BASED POSITION | NORTH CAROLINA TERRITORY | TRAVEL UP TO 70%
ABOUT YOU:
As a Territory Sales amp; Account Manager, you will drive growth in Jostens’ College division by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service and event execution. You will act as a consultative sales partner, helping institutions elevate outcomes in graduation rates, student retention, alumni engagement, and brand representation. Focused on the Florida territory, you’ll travel extensively to develop meaningful relationships, manage strategic accounts, and deliver unforgettable campus events that reinforce Jostens’ impact.
YOU HAVE:
  • Passion for customer. Ability to lead and direct the efforts of a customer facing team.
  • Technical skills. Proficiency in and dedication to the utilization of Salesforce.com CRM tool. Working level proficiency in internet research and MS Office suite including Word, Excel, amp; PowerPoint. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, often multiple times during an event.
  • Desire to learn. Thorough understanding of the college/university market, B2B selling processes designed to position Jostens as a strategic resource to our customers and B2C marketing execution including retail merchandising.
  • Competitive spirit. Ability to successfully advance through the selling cycle in highly political customer environments and effectively manage the balance between sales, service and administrative responsibilities.
  • Great communication skills. Advanced consultative sales skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to ask questions, utilize listening skills and communicate effectively in verbal and written forms. Must be able to communicate one to one or one to many in the form of presentations. Ability to build strong professional relationships with customers and internal team members.
  • Experience. 5-10 years sales and/or marketing experience. Experience with business to business customer acquisition and account management.
  • Education. 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Preferred. Sales/marketing experience in the University market
YOU WILL:
  • Develop. New customer acquisition and opportunity development. Translate the business plan into account specific tactics. Develop relationships with prospects amp; track all activity in Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Strength. Current customer expansion and account management. Develop broad based relationships and a thorough understanding of the customers business to position Jostens as a strategic resource, and track all activity in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Enhance. Collaborate and coordinate with the customer facing team (Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Associates and Regional Service Team Manager) to develop and execute the territory consumer promotional marketing plan and event performance plan through planning and executing profitable events.
  • Organize. Territory planning, performance assessment and administrative responsibilities to ensure Jostens executes effectively for the customer.
  • Support. Work with newly hired sales reps in the territory as trainer/mentor.
  • Typical/expected % of overnight travel: 70%
