About the Role
We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our Safety team on our project in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time, in-person position. The Safety Coordinator is responsible for executing the project safety program within assigned areas, supporting trade partners, and ensuring compliance with Holder standards and regulatory requirements. This role represents the transition from learning to ownership of defined safety scopes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Holder's safety program for assigned trades or work areas
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings
  • Lead safety planning and coordination for high-risk activities in partnership with operations
  • Support incident, near miss, and first aid investigations using root cause analysis
  • Review and support development of JHAs and high-risk activity plans
  • Deliver safety orientations and training to subcontractors and field personnel
  • Reinforce expectations and proactively address safety concerns in the field

Qualifications
  • OSHA 30 required
  • Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
  • Ability to communicate and reinforce expectations with field personnel
  • Progress toward BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or equivalent preferred)
