Job description

Overview
We are seeking a Procurement Sourcing Manager - Technology to support the strategic sourcing of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and enterprise software solutions, with additional support across technology contingent labor, for our Technology organization.
In this role, you will partner closely with Technology, Product, Finance, and HR teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts supporting key initiatives including Data Platforms, Infrastructure, Wholesale, Digital, Fulfillment, Stores, and Customer Care. You will play a critical role in optimizing software and SaaS investments, while also supporting efficient and cost-effective engagement of external technology talent.
Responsibilities
Saas & Software:
  • Lead and execute sourcing strategies for SaaS platforms and enterprise software, including vendor selection, competitive events, and negotiations

  • Manage an associate/team supporting software and SaaS sourcing activities, including new purchases, renewals, and expansions

  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms, including subscription pricing, licensing models, renewal protections, usage tiers, and service-level agreements (SLAs)

  • Partner with Technology and Finance to manage technology spend, including budgeting, forecasting, and renewal planning

  • Drive license and subscription optimization, identifying opportunities to reduce cost, eliminate redundancy, and improve utilization

  • Develop and maintain total cost of ownership (TCO) models and assist with business cases to support investment decisions

  • Implement supplier management practices to maximize value, improve performance, and support adoption of key platforms

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on selection, scalability, and integration needs, funding approval and contract execution

  • Analyze market trends and pricing benchmarks to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations

  • Identify and implement process improvements

Contingent Labor Support:
  • Support sourcing and management of technology contingent labor (staff augmentation and consulting) in partnership with Technology and HR

  • Assist in negotiating rate cards, bill rates, and statement of work (SOW) engagements to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with business needs

  • Provide input into labor demand planning, supplier selection, and performance tracking for external technology resources

  • Present sourcing strategies, financial analyses, and outcomes to leadership to support decision-making

  • Drive project execution, manage timelines, and communicate progress to stakeholders

Qualifications
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in technology procurement or strategic sourcing, with a focus on SaaS and/or enterprise software

  • Strong experience negotiating software licensing and SaaS subscription agreements

  • Exposure to contingent labor sourcing, staffing agreements, or SOW-based engagements

  • Experience developing financial models (TCO) and analyzing spend data

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Technology, Finance, and Business teams

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong communication skills

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and maintain attention to detail to ensure successful project execution

  • Be able to perform in a demanding environment while juggling multiple competing priorities

  • Strong contract negotiation skills, the ability to gather and analyze data, assess risks / gaps and make recommendations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office365. Understanding of Oracle ERP applications a plus

  • CPM/ CPSM certified is a plus

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting SaaS portfolio management or software asset management (SAM)

  • Familiarity with contingent workforce programs (MSP/VMS), IT staffing suppliers, and rate card negotiations.

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or digital environments
