The Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A is a strategic finance partner to a complex, multi-faceted family of companies and collaborates directly with all levels of management to perform operational and benchmark analyses, build and interpret key financial metrics,forecastoperatingresults,andsupportcritical strategic and operating decisions.

How the Senior Financial Analyst contributes:
  • Develops deep understanding of the business issue andutilizetechnicalskillwith data analysis, modeling, analytics, and general reporting to deliver insight to management that enables data-backed decision support.
  • Collaborateswith cross-functional teams to gather insights, support decision-making, and drive financial best practices across the organization.
  • Buildsfinancial models using MS Excel and/or augmented by business planning software for forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and other purposes to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Prepares and presents clear and concise financial reports to senior management through thedevelopment ofdashboards, balancedscorecardsand key performance indicator reports, offering insights into financial trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Actively works to take advantage of available software and technology features.
  • Pursues andadvisesregardingpotential functionality enhancements to the business intelligence and budget software modules.
  • Leads theenhancementprocesses and procedures by driving innovation tooptimizeprocess workflow throughout the department.
  • Works independently and as a team member.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.), preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of fouryearsFinance or Accounting experience.
  • Strongproficiencyin financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Effectively obtain and manipulate data and administer reporting from enterprise systems, such as general ledger, budgeting/planning, business intelligence, or operational platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excels at forward-facing interactions and developing key relationships across all levels within the organization.
  • Experienced use of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ability to design and deploy end-to-end automated workflows.
  • Technically-independent leveraging SQL, financial modeling tools, and ERP systems.
  • MBA or CPAa plus.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solvingand analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to excellence andhigh standards.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal supervision.
