RWS Global is a full service, worldwide production company that provides the very best in custom-designed as well as pre-packaged events and live shows for corporations, theme parks, cruise ships, resorts, and the fashion industry. We are seeking Costume Characters at LEGOLAND New York for the Daily Park Opening Show, Character Meet & Greets, Hotel Events. This role may perform in both the theme park and hotel locations. We are looking for high-energy performers to bring these Costume Characters to life!

Costumed Character Performers must be willing to perform as a costumed character and serve as a character sidekick when needed. Responsibilities include assisting during character meet-and-greets, being the voice for the character, and engaging with guests to create a welcoming and interactive experience. Performers will be working in various indoor and outdoor climates and must be comfortable wearing a full character costume for up to 30 minutes at a time. This role requires individuals who are comfortable performing in enclosed character costumes.

In the hotel setting, performers will support family-focused programming such as character meet-and-greets, hosting games for families, leading dance parties, and reading from a book during scheduled Storytime experiences. Performers should be comfortable speaking with guests, facilitating activities, and maintaining high energy while interacting with children and families.

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Dates: now - November 22, 2026

Hours: approximately 8 hours per shift between 9:00am and 9:00pm

What is required?

  • Must be between 5'2" and 5'4"
  • This is full body costume like a mascot with head fully covered
  • Must be local to Goshen, New York or surrounding area
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • All gender identities are welcome
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • This is a non-union job
