How much do rpo recruitment jobs pay per year?

As of Aug 7, 2026, the average yearly pay for rpo recruitment in the United States is $93,827.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $54,500.00 and $133,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What is RPO recruitment?

RPO recruitment stands for Recruitment Process Outsourcing, a business model where an organization outsources all or part of its recruitment activities to an external service provider. The RPO provider acts as an extension of the company's HR or talent acquisition team, handling tasks such as sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. This approach can help businesses improve hiring quality, reduce time-to-fill, and manage recruitment costs more effectively. RPO solutions are often customizable to fit the unique needs and scale of the client company.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an RPO recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as an RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of talent acquisition, sourcing strategies, and candidate assessment, typically supported by experience in recruitment or HR. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and sometimes certifications like SHRM or AIRS can be advantageous. Strong communication, relationship-building, and adaptability help professionals excel in managing client expectations and engaging candidates. These skills are crucial for efficiently delivering high-quality talent solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.

How does working in RPO recruitment differ from traditional in-house recruiting roles?

RPO Recruitment professionals typically work as part of an outsourced team that partners with client companies to manage some or all aspects of their hiring process. This means you'll often juggle multiple client accounts, adapting quickly to different company cultures and hiring needs. Unlike in-house recruiters who focus on one organization, RPO recruiters must be flexible and efficient in handling varying job requirements and high volumes of requisitions. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with both the client's HR team and your own RPO colleagues to deliver quality candidates and meet hiring targets. This dynamic environment offers strong career growth opportunities, especially for those who enjoy variety and fast-paced work.

RPO Recruiter -- Industrials and Manufacturing

Evergreen RPO

Winter Park, FL โ€ข On-site

Job description

Evergreen RPO, a division of Park Capital Search, is expanding its industrials practice and seeking an RPO Recruiter with deep industrials experience. This role supports embedded and outsourced talent solutions for private equityโ€“backed and growth-stage industrial companies, where an unfilled plant leadership seat, a stalled engineering bench, or a delayed line ramp can put an entire operating plan behind schedule.

This is an RPO seat, not an agency desk. You will work inside client hiring processes, carry live req load against defined SLAs, and represent Evergreen as an extension of the client's talent function.

What You Will Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across industrial disciplines โ€” manufacturing and process engineering, plant and operations leadership, quality and reliability, supply chain and procurement, EHS, maintenance and skilled trades, continuous improvement, and technical sales.
  • Operate as an embedded recruiter within client environments, working their processes, systems, and hiring rhythms while holding Evergreen's standards for speed and candidate quality.
  • Source proactively through the MarketSync Talent Engine to build pipelines in tight geographic labor markets ahead of demand, including single-plant and rural locations where passive outreach is the only viable channel.
  • Maintain real-time pipeline visibility inside the Client Curated Data Center so hiring partners and operating teams see progress as it happens.
  • Partner with account managers, plant and site leadership, and corporate HR to calibrate requirements and adjust strategy quickly, often across multiple sites at once.
  • Screen and qualify against both the technical bar and the retention profile each site needs, accounting for shift structure, relocation realities, and local compensation dynamics.
  • Track and report on time-to-fill, submittal-to-interview ratios, offer acceptance, and quality of hire against contracted SLAs.

What You Bring

  • Three or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least two years in an RPO or embedded recruiting model. This is a firm requirement.
  • Demonstrated industrials focus โ€” manufacturing, industrial distribution, building products, capital equipment, aerospace and defense, transportation and logistics, energy services, chemicals, or packaging.
  • Experience carrying meaningful req load against client SLAs, including ramp periods, multi-site rollouts, or hiring events.
  • Comfort recruiting into constrained geographic markets and communicating honestly with clients when the local labor pool, comp band, or shift structure is the actual constraint.
  • Fluency with applicant tracking systems, including working inside client-owned ATS instances, and modern sourcing tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage multiple client stakeholders and competing priorities at once.
  • A results-driven mindset paired with genuine attention to candidate experience and long-term retention.

Why Evergreen

Evergreen RPO is purpose-built for the pace and scale of private equityโ€“backed growth, and Recruiters here work with proactive sourcing technology, live pipeline transparency, and flexible On-Demand and Enterprise engagement models that reward speed without sacrificing quality. The focus stays on retention and lasting placements rather than simply filling a seat.

How to Apply

We are screening for real RPO experience, so a resume alone will not move you forward. Apply through this posting and include the following, either in your cover note or at the top of your resume:

  • The RPO or embedded programs you have worked, and whether they were on-demand, project-based, or enterprise.
  • Typical req load you carried and the industrial functions you filled.
  • Two or three representative roles you closed, with approximate time-to-fill.
  • The client environment including whose ATS you worked in and who you reported into on the client side.

If you would rather not go through the posting, message me directly with the same detail and I will respond personally.
