Position Summary...As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building and managing the inventory flow metrics scorecard that provides executive insight into the levers that shape same day and next day customer value proposition and overall inventory productivity across nodes, SKU segments and flow channels. In addition, you will conduct root cause analysis to analyze trends and levers to accelerate progress toward future state vision and CVP goals.
This role will influence multi‑billion‑dollar decisions by defining KPI standards, modeling end‑to‑end flow paths, and delivering insights that guide upstream and downstream network design aligned to Walmart’s long‑term vision. You will leverage expertise in AI agents, SQL, Python and visualization tools to run sensitivity analysis and own executive reporting. You will define the framework for scorecard and dashboard design, including KPI selection, data sources, refresh cadence, and visualization standards.
