Job description

Job Title: Production Control Analyst          Department: Production Control

Reports to: Production Control Manager    

Job Summary:

The Production Control Analyst supports all aspects of Production Control, to include scheduling, product flow, monitoring and adjusting to customer requirements, allocating manpower and resources to meet demand, and monitoring/tracking goals for the department.  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

·         None

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Monitor work in process and ensure product is at each step of the production process in a timely manner.

·         Work daily with manufacturing sections to ensure that resources are being allocated correctly.

·         Monitor our outside processors by communicating dates when parts need to be returned and track on-time deliveries.

·         Schedule monthly builds for parts based on demand from our customers.

·         React to changing customer demand and orders, re-allocating resources and manpower when needed.

·         Provide support through ERP functions for all steps of manufacturing.

·         Update daily information for the manufacturing processes, including inventory levels and short shipments if any.

Required Skills/Abilities:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·         Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·         Ability to adapt to frequently changing circumstances

Education and Experience:

·         Experience using ERP Software.

·         Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

·         Prior manufacturing experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

·         Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
