Job Purpose
As the Senior Production Control Planner at VulcanForms Inc, you will supervise production control and logistics at our Newburyport facility to ensure that all systems and processes designed provide zero stock-out situations. You will plan, schedule, and control production schedules for active customer products. VulcanForms operates in an environmentally controlled, state-of-the-art facility committed to producing quality parts for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the planning and replenishment of all materials required for product delivery and machine builds.
  • Examine the results of the MRP system along with system-generated part replenishment recommendations.
  • Integrate with Warehouse and Production staff to help support shop floor operations, work order on-time starts, and prevent any work stoppages.
  • Supervise and report on the production progress of customer deliverables, including tracking external vendor operations.
  • Provide delivery commitments to the internal customers.
  • Supervise daily activity to collect status and escalate risk as needed.
  • Create and or maintain processes and standard work for efficiency.
  • Own files and other related documentation as required.
  • Work cross-functionally to expedite material shortages with Procurement, Receiving, Quality, and other production areas.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • ERP system experience - Epicor preferred.
  • Technical understanding of the manufacturing work being planned and managed
  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling

In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The annual base salary range for this position is $83,200-$114,400.
