Job description

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is a leading regional commercial roofing contractor committed to quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Technician Helper to support our roofing technicians on job sites throughout the Memphis area.

Position Overview

The Technician Helper assists experienced roofing technicians with daily job-site operations. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in the commercial roofing industry with opportunities for growth and advancement for dependable team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with installation and repair of commercial roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, metal, and other systems

  • Load, unload, and transport roofing materials, tools, and equipment

  • Remove debris and old roofing materials from job sites

  • Help set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment

  • Operate basic hand and power tools as needed

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

  • Follow instructions from supervisors and senior technicians

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Basic construction or roofing experience is a plus, but not required

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines
