IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to lead and support enterprise, program, and operational risk management activities for a complex aviation environment. This role is supporting Utility Helicopter and is critical to ensuring risks are identified early, assessed accurately, and communicated clearly to leadership using data-driven tools-particularly Power BI or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Database.

Candidates who apply should have strong oral and written communication skills and can work effectively with others. An active and transferable DoD Secret level security clearance is required.

Job Duties:

  • Serve as overall facilitator of the UHPO Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Management Program, including the RIO Working Group (WG) and Review Board (RRB).
  • Develop & maintain UHPO Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management Plan (RIOMP).
  • Provide RIO management training for customer Product Offices.
  • Oversee comprehensive risk management for the Functional Requirements Authentication Board (FRAB) including identification, analysis, and mitigation of risks identified for program level and functional reviews.
  • Facilitate risk identification and mitigation planning with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Ensure that risks within the RIO management database are current, correct, and complete.
  • Ensure issues identified by an IPT that affect other IPTs are documented, published, and tabled for resolution.
  • Enter and maintain risk data in the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) database (or database identified by customer), and publication of risk reports derived from the ARM management database.
  • Prepare risk briefings, reports, and documents required for program reviews and acquisition milestone decision processes.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the government Systems Engineering (SE) Lead to include, but not limited to, reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lista (CDRLs), and other duties as assigned performing requirements management and traceability, and preparing presentation material for reviews.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

 Education and General Experience:

  • General experience in Power Bi/ARM database (or other risk management software) are required.
  • Systems Engineering degree or similar is preferrable.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced teaming environment where problem solving with creative solutions requires both hard and soft skills to reach agreement among multiple stakeholders.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others, both Government and Contractor, by establishing and developing relationships.
  • Experience in risk management within PEO Aviation, or other highly regulated industries
  • Hands-on experience with ARM/Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and visualization for risk tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to navigate and manipulate various databases.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Clearance: An active and transferrable DoD Secret level security clearance is required.

Required Travel: 10%
