The successful candidate will Provide Network Engineering support to the Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) All Domain Test Range (ADTR) and INDOPACOM Pacific-Rim Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability Team, Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC) Secret Network (JSN) Node, JMETC Multiple Independent Levels of Security Network (JMN) Node, Secret Defense Research and Engineering Network (SDREN), Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN). As a Network Engineer, you will be a critical part of our team responsible for evaluating customer requirements on complex technical challenges. You will aid by providing solutions to complex problems in a manner which meets both functional and security requirements. You will handle keeping the team's testing infrastructure operational and in compliance with all TRMC directives and applicable RMF requirements. To do this you will often work with other distributed team members to discuss current system status and desired future enhancements. Minimum Qualifications: * MUST have an ACTIVE Top Secret SCI Clearance
* Education: Technical bachelor's degree (experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
* Minimum of 10 years' experience to include the following:
* DoD Testing and Training Ranges,
* Military Instrumentation Systems Data Analysis
* Experience working with DoD Wide Area Networks and familiarity with various network architectures, multicast data flows, and common protocols to include:
* Experience working with Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN)
* Experience working with the Secret Defense Research and Engineering Network (SDREN)
* Able to lift to 35 lbs.
* Willing to travel up to 50% Desired Qualifications: * Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
* Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) Environments
* Test Analysis and Test Planning
* Testing in Distributed Exercises/Events
* Cisco and / or Juniper Network certifications
* Cisco Next Generation Firewall
* Experience supporting systems within a DoD Risk management Framework (RMF) accredited environment
* DoD 8570 certifications (Security+ or equivalent)
* SIEM (Splunk, SolarWinds, etc.)
* Strong documentation skills (Writing SOPs, Creating Networking Diagrams) Coordination, Communication and Presentation skills Basic Compensation: $140,000 to $165,000 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
