We're hiring a Warehouse Manager to Live. Work. Explore. at the south rim of the Grand Canyon!

Job Summary:Manage the warehouse operations for allย purchasingย warehouses used to stock products forย theย South Rim. Oversee management of inventory turns,ย dumps,ย and spoils.

The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundPay: $51,000 per yearSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Housing: Eligible for a Private 1-Bedroom Apartment for $352 per month and $352 housing deposit.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and schedule work assignments for all warehouse personnel.
  • Supervise the accurate completion of daily stock requisitions including paperwork and delivery.
  • Maintain the computerized ordering/inventory tracking software.
  • Supervise the logistics and processes of all inbound and outbound products/freight and to develop or make changes to the process as needed.
  • Responsible for warehouse inventory control; this includes setting revolving PAR levels based on overall usage by the locations and the reordering of inventoried products to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Prepare and/or oversee preparation of all orders for stock replenishment as well as shipment in a timely manner of special ordered products to the appropriate units.
  • Receive inbound products into the warehouse and ensure items are properly put away in the proper location.
  • Supervise cleaning of warehouse area, and that ServeSafe HACCP standards are being adhered to in the receiving, shipping and storage of food.
  • Ensure that all chemicals and/or hazardous materials are properly stored in the appropriate warehouse area in accordance with regulations.
  • Supervise and participate in monthly inventory of the warehouse.
  • Supervise/ensure that alcoholic beverage exchange procedures and chain of custody are properly followed.
  • Coding of invoices properly if any discrepancies or returned products and copy the Administrative Assistant of these to ensure that proper credit will be received.
  • Inspect quality of goods received and turn away any product that is not deemed to be acceptable.ย  Make appropriate note of refused product on carrier's paperwork to assure proper credit is applied.
  • Verify all items in the warehouse are matched with the proper stock number and that these numbers are correct in the software program.
  • Ensure all changes and/or additions to the warehouse stock are made to order guides and templates as the Purchasing Buyer and/or Manager issue them.
  • Ensure key control and security of the warehouse is maintained, making sure all alarms are set at closing.
  • Adheres to all safety, risk management and sustainability policies in the performance of tasks.
  • Ensure that assigned staff are adhering to risk management procedures, including but not limited to, wearing personal protective equipment, SDS location and comprehension and ergonomics.
  • Conduct annual reviews for hourly personnel, and administer any corrective action as needed.
  • Prepare and manage as needed, any warehouse moves, slot assignments, warehouse/product racking and layout plans.
  • Supervise and train on use of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and computers.
  • Interview train and hire warehouse personnel.
  • Do periodic spot inventory checks.
  • Management of departmental fleet, ensuring inspections are done on the daily basis, and maintenance is conducted as needed to keep vehicles in proper working order.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Three years of hospitality products and food warehouse experience including ordering procedures and inventory control processes.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn ordering/inventory tracking software.
  • Basic food sanitation knowledge in handling perishable products.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Possess or able to obtain valid Arizona Driver's License and comply with the company Driver Safety Program.

Physical Requirements include:

Constantly: Stand, walk, handle, reach outward/above shoulders, squat/kneel, bend, lift/carry up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 12 lbs.

Frequently: Climb, lift/carry up to 100 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Occasionally: Sit, lift/carry over 100 lbs.
