Financial Planner
Our well-established and growing financial planning firm is seeking to add a Financial Planner to our team!
Our firm has a proven marketing and operations system, which has allowed us to steadily increase our client base and attract additional advisors. We are a fast-paced, mission-driven company with a collaborative, dynamic work environment. The 5 planning areas we cover in our comprehensive planning are Income, Tax, Investments, Insurance, and Estate/Giving.
This position will have the opportunity to lead a team that supports financial advisors with the creation of customized comprehensive financial plans, annual updates, and client-requested financial analysis. Planning areas include but are not limited to financial statement analysis, risk management, benefits, insurance analysis, philanthropic planning, investments, tax, retirement income, along with trust and estate planning. We have CPAs on staff to help with tax planning and paraplanners for additional help.
Initial duties include creating plans and proposals for potential clients, reviewing plans and creating recommendations for client reviews, identifying areas of opportunity and new planning strategies, and being a resource to the lead advisor in complex planning meetings to present planning concepts amp; analysis to clients.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (Business, Finance, Economics, or related major preferred)
  • 3+ years of financial services experience with an emphasis on client services
  • Series 65 and/or 7 Licensed
  • CFP ยฎ, CPWA or other industry advanced certification
  • Superior organizational, prioritization, interpersonal amp; management skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word amp; PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Redtail/CRM preferred, but not required
Additional Position Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the research and response of general to complex technical planning inquires from advisors, team members, and clients
  • Provide regular education sessions with Wealth Advisors to provide tools and information for them to share with clients
  • Support the team with the creation and/or maintenance of advisor amp; client resources and collaterals
  • Contribute to meeting individual and team goals

Compensation will be made up of a competitive salary with benefits (insurance, 401k) and covered advisor fees (state registration fees, technology, E amp;O). The starting base salary for this role will be $70,000 - $100,000 and the position is eligible for additional bonuses based on team amp; company goals.
