Job description

Brief Summary: Under the direction of the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager, the Retail Sales Supervisor assists with the daily management and operations of the showroom, including sales performance, customer service, staff development, inventory oversight, and operational compliance. This position is responsible for coaching and mentoring showroom associates, supporting branch profitability goals, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience while promoting Bedrosians products and services.
Essential Functions:

  1. Assist in the management of all aspects of the store's operations, sales and customer service
  2. Ensure the branch meets budget, sales and profit plans every month
  3. Ensure branch operational procedures are strictly followed making sure your branch is run smoothly, has accurate inventory, and correct billing and invoicing procedures are followed for samples and product purchases
  4. Ensure every branch complies with corporate-directed marketing and sales campaigns
  5. Promote and plan successful, polished, fun and well-attended product launch parties on a quarterly basis
  6. Actively push sales in discontinued products by ensuring new pricing is posted and announced in every store location, customers are notified, all staff are trained, and product is well-displayed to promote sales
  7. Help resolve client issues immediately with best possible solutions, following corporate procedure
  8. Assist in establishing quarterly goals with all branch staff and review regularly ensure goals are met
  9. Hire and develop a team that works cohesively with the customer as the primary focus
  10. Manage time efficiently and delegate tasks as appropriate
  11. Prepare, coordinate, and assist with physical inventories
  12. Promote Bedrosians products and services everywhere you go
  13. Maintain and increase professional and technical knowledge by reviewing product literature, manuals, and manufacturer bulletins, as well as attending vendor/ manufacturer seminars whenever available
  14. Coach sales staff to help meet individual and branch sales goals
  15. Travel and participate in industry tradeshows and/or company meetings and events when necessary
  1. Work within the framework of the company's defined rules, procedures, goals and directives.

  3. Promote, coordinate, and assist with showroom staff operations, policies & procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required:
  1. Three (3) years of prior large retail store assistant or department management experience
  2. Positive attitude
  3. Excellent Computer skills
  4. Excellent and professional phone skills
  5. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  6. Excellent planning and organizational skills
  7. Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team
  8. Excellent understanding of design and color
  9. Work on the weekends
  10. Possess a flexible work schedule
  11. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
  12. Drivers License (must provide current MVR)

Preferred:
  1. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus

Supervisory Responsibility:
Directly supervises showroom sales associates and assists with the leadership and development of branch staff.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a retail showroom and warehouse environment with frequent interaction with customers, vendors, and employees. The work environment may include exposure to warehouse equipment, dust, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
