THE JOB:
As an IT Operations & Service Desk Intern, you will support property technology operations and enterprise systems that keep MGM Resorts running efficiently. You will assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving service tickets, and supporting endpoint and network functionality while helping ensure system reliability across the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience with IT service management, technical support, and process improvement, making it ideal for recent graduates interested in IT operations, service desk support, and enterprise technology.
THE STARTING RATE: $17.00/hour
PROGRAM DURATION: July - December 2026
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues across property supported devices, including desktops, printers, point of sale systems, and mobile devices.
  • Support service desk operations by triaging tickets, updating statuses in ServiceNow, and ensuring timely resolution or escalation of issues.
  • Provide in person and remote technical support to employees, including walk up support, new device setup, and account access assistance.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge articles to support first call resolution and improve team efficiency.
  • Participate in property health checks and identify recurring issues to support system reliability and continuous improvement efforts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Currently enrolled in a Technology degree or certification program or related field
  • Able to commit to the full 23-week program
