Role - SAP IS Retail Consultant

Location - Marlboro, MA / Onsite

Contract - 6 months

Experience Level: 7+ Years

Role Description

  • Strong knowledge of SAP IS Retail processes
  • Experience working with:
  1. Article Master Data
  2. Listing & Assortments
  3. Pricing procedures
  4. Retail procurement
  • Integration knowledge with SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • Basic ABAP debugging knowledge (preferred)
  • Understanding of retail business including store operations, inventory management, and supply chain

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze retail business processes and translate them into SAP solutions
  • Configure SAP IS Retail modules such as:
  1. Merchandise Management (MM)
  2. Pricing & Promotions
  3. Assortment Planning
  • Work with integration points (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO)
  • Support POS (Point of Sale) systems integration
  • Handle master data (articles, sites, assortments)
  • Perform testing (unit testing, UAT)
  • Provide production support and resolve issues
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and provide solutions

  • Strong knowledge of SAP IS Retail processes
