As Traveling Community Managers, your mission is simple but meaningful:

  • Happy Residents
  • Full Occupancy
  • On-Budget Operations

You will travel to communities as needed to provide stability, leadership, and hands-on support during management vacancies, leaves of absence, or special projects. This role requires adaptability, strong leadership skills, and a willingness to jump into any area of community operations when needed.

What We're Looking For
  • A couple or two-person team passionate about serving seniors
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to support communities nationwide
  • Applicants must be at least 25 years old to meet our liability insurance requirements for operating the resident shuttle.
  • Strong leadership, hospitality, sales, and customer service skills
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales and marketing goals
  • Budget management and financial analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience hiring, training, and leading large teams
  • A servant-leadership mindset with the flexibility to step into various operational roles as needed
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and build relationships with residents and employees
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide interim leadership and support at communities experiencing management transitions
  • Oversee community operations including sales, dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance, transportation, and resident services
  • Maintain compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Assist communities in achieving occupancy, financial, and operational goals
  • Foster a positive culture that supports both employees and residents
  • Serve as a trusted resource during transitions, helping communities remain stable and successful
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive part-time compensation-this is a part-time, as-needed position. Team members are paid at an annualized equivalent of $60,000 per year ($1,153.85 per week) while actively working an assignment. Compensation is not provided during periods between assignments. Travel-related expenses and accommodations are provided while on assignment.
  • Flexible scheduling between assignments
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple communities nationwide
Why RLC?
  • Fast-growing, family-owned company with 60+ communities nationwide
  • Opportunity to travel and experience different communities and regions
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative culture
  • A purpose-driven role where you can make a difference wherever you're needed most
