Overview

Opportunity:  Cabana Attendant

Responsible for completing sales transactions and serving of the Pool cabanas. Associate is also responsible for providing excellent guests' service and support to both guests and internal partners while maintaining all service areas in the pool.

Essential Job Functions

  • Uses suggestive sales techniques to process order for rental of Cabanas for the day and assists guests with questions provide guest recovery
  • Responsible for obtaining guests information for the sales agreement and following proper cash handling procedures during the sales transactions. 
  • Maintains accurate logs of rented or returned Premium Services items to ensure appropriate inventory levels. 
  • Responsible for escorting guests to their rented Cabana.
  • Serve cabana guests by providing excellent guest service.
  • Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of Cabanas & equipment, rental products and towels including the use of cleaning agents. 
  • Inspect and maintain inventory of all rental products, identify and report maintenance issues
  • Processes all payments i.e. Room Charges, cash, credit card etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform this function using unit of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment and Context

  • Frequently standing up and moving about the pool area. 
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours in length. 
  • Handling objects, safety equipment. 
  • Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to work long hours/split shifts and be able to handle stressful conditions.
  • Schedule may include working holidays and weekends.
