Position SummaryWe are looking for an LPN or RN to join our Crossroads at Lakewood team. The Resident Services Director is responsible for managing and scheduling all employees within the Resident Services department, along with working closely with doctors and other third-party health care providers to make sure all residents are appropriately cared for. They assume duties and responsibilities delegated by the Executive Director to assure holistic resident care in accordance with State, Federal and local regulations and the current standards of practice. They work closely with residents in a respectful manner by providing assistance in a dignified, trusting environment while being sure to record and monitor the progress of each resident.
Duties and Responsibilities

Makes decisions to interview hire, evaluate, suspend, terminate, authorize time off, or grant overtime to personnel in the Resident Services department
* Performs resident care with an awareness of dignity and individuality, with understanding and concern
* Answers emergency and routine calls from staff, family and providers
* Handles on-call responsibilities when scheduled
* Schedules Quality Assurance staff training and recruiting
* Assesses prospective residents prior to move-in
* Responsible for resident care as defined by Crossroads Management
* Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
* Nursing experience in a senior living setting is required
* Management of care staff
* Ability to work independently, effectively manage own time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Must be able to assess, direct, and evaluate healthcare activities
* Effectively communicate with staff, healthcare providers and elderly residents
* Must be a team player, able to work seamlessly with other directors
* EMAR implementation, review and oversight
* Must pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background and reference inquiries
* Staff training
Physical Requirements
* Consistently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, grasp, twist and turn, talk, listen and hear
* Ability to lift 30-50 pounds as needed
* Medium physical strength required to perform work
Compensation: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
