Job description

Resident Care Director - RN or LPN

Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Resident Care Director - either RN or LPN - for our assisted living community located in beautiful Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district. A well-qualified RN or LPN has experience in the following:

  • Overseeing a resident care department through supervising and hands-on support of the care staff
  • Managing and training resident care staff to ensure quality service delivery
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Completing resident assessments and care plans for new and current residents
  • Conducting daily/weekly compliance audits and QA initiatives

Resident Care Director Qualifications:

  • RN or LPN nursing license in good standing with the State of North Carolina
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience, long-term care experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
