Description
  • Answers call lights. - Reassure residents that a C.N.A will be in soon and leave call light on if care is needed (cannot perform resident cares).
  • Restock wipes in all bathrooms
  • Ensure each trash can in all residents' rooms have an extra roll of trash bags
  • Pass room trays and clothing protectors to residents during mealtimes utilizing proper hand hygiene. Pick up room tray from room after meals
  • Pass ice water and snacks to residents.
  • Tidy bedside tables in rooms by throwing away trash, take cups/dishes to the sink if residents are no longer using, wipe tray down with cavi wipe if it appears dirty or sticky.
  • Take out trash and laundry from residents' rooms after the C.N.A gets them up, and tidy the bed.
  • Stock briefs in resident closets and fresh towels in resident bathrooms.
  • Ensure supplies such a peri wash are available in top drawers of bedside cabinets for each resident.
  • Assist with room moves if necessary.
  • Perform nail care on residents.
  • Play games with the residents or just sit and chat with them, including outside if weather permitting.
  • Ensure dresser drawers and top shelves of closets are straightened and organized.
  • Wipe down high touch areas with cavi wipes and/or cleaning spay and rag.
  • Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
  • On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.
  • All other duties as required.
