To thrive as a Repairman, you need strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of tools and repair techniques, often gained through vocational training or apprenticeships. Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools, and sometimes certifications like EPA Section 608 for HVAC repair are commonly required.
